Product launch checklist
The fifteen things worth doing before, during and after a launch.
Free, no signup, and it runs entirely in your browser.

The week before
Everything here is cheaper to fix now than on the day.
Launch day
The order matters more than the hour.
The week after
Where most of the value actually is, and where most people stop.
The first item under launch day is the one people skip. Submitting here takes a minute and keeps working all week.
About this tool
Most launch checklists are fifty items long and describe a company with a marketing team. This is the short version for one person shipping something: the things that are cheap to fix beforehand and expensive to discover afterwards, plus the week-after work that produces most of the durable value and that almost everyone skips.
- Your progress is saved in this browser. No account, nothing sent to us, and it survives a refresh — a checklist you work through over a week is useless if it resets.
- Order matters more than timing on the day. Directory submissions go first because they take time to be reviewed and indexed, so one made in the morning works for you all week.
- Signing up as a stranger — private window, phone, an email you have never used — catches more launch-day disasters than any other single item here.
- The week-after section is where the value is. A launch surfaces one confusion everybody shares, and fixing it is worth more than the launch was.
Questions
- What should I do first on launch day?
- Submit to directories. They take time to review and index, so a submission made early keeps working all week, while a social post peaks in a few hours.
- What is the most common launch-day mistake?
- A broken signup flow that the maker never hit because they were already logged in. Test it in a private window, on a phone, with a fresh address.
- Is my checklist saved?
- In your browser only. It survives refreshes and returns, needs no account, and is never sent to us.
