What we collect

If you create an account, we store the name, email address and avatar your sign-in provider gives us. That is used to identify you, attribute your votes and submissions, and email you about your own listings.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and whether you have confirmed it. One click unsubscribes you.

Clicks and votes

When you click through to a tool, we record that a click happened so listings can be ranked and, in the Arena, so cost-per-click can be shown honestly. Your IP address is hashed with a secret before storage and never kept in raw form. Individual click records are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Votes carry a hashed IP and device fingerprint. That exists solely to detect coordinated vote manipulation, and is not used to build a profile of you or shared with anyone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the pages you view and general details about your device. We use it to understand traffic, not to identify you, and we do not enable Google’s advertising or cross-device features on it.

It runs on public pages only — never on your account pages or the admin panel. If you would rather not be counted, any browser-level tracker blocker or Google’s own opt-out add-on will stop it, and nothing on this site depends on it working.

What we do not do

No advertising trackers, no ad networks, and no retargeting pixels. No selling or sharing of personal data. No cross-site profiling. Personal data is never placed in URLs.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details — we receive only a payment identifier, the amount, and the email you gave at checkout.

Your data

You can ask for a copy of your data or have your account deleted. Contact us and we will action it.
