About Codex Tool Reference

Tools are callable endpoints; skills are reusable instruction packages that guide how those tools are used. This snapshot contains 232 tool interfaces and 44 complete main skill files.

Skill pages reproduce their complete current SKILL.md source. The tool reference preserves the exposed descriptions and TypeScript declarations. Availability can change with session configuration, permissions, connected apps, and installed plugins.

Every available skill has its own page containing a verbatim copy of its main definition.
